Rabbi Elazar in the Midrash (Vayikra Rabbah 5:5) teaches that all are responsible in life to prepare a place for burial. To that end, our synagogue owns plots that are available for purchase to members (and their relatives) at Garden of Remembrance – Gan Zikaron Memorial Park in Clarksburg, MD.
