Luncheon with Rabbi Nati Helfgot

In addition to other Divrei Torah we will hear throughout Shabbat from Rabbi Helfgot, we have the opportunity to join as a community to honor our special guest at a Shabbat lunch and learn. Sign up here so we can plan accordingly, and arrange proper childcare during the post-lunch learning.

Rabbi Nathaniel (Nati) Helfgot was ordained by RIETS and holds an MA in Education from the Azrieli Graduate School of Yeshiva University. He is the Chair of the Department of Talmud and Rabbinics at SAR High School.

He is the spiritual leader of Congregation Netivot Shalom in Teaneck, NJ. Previously, Rabbi Helfgot was the Chair of the Departments of Bible and Jewish Thought at Yeshivat Chovevei Torah, and before that, the Director of the Judaic Studies Curriculum at Ma’ayanot Yeshiva High School for Girls. He has also taught at the Frisch School and Torah Academy of Bergen County.

He is the author of Divrei Berakah U’Moed -Halakhic Essays on the Topics of Holidays and Blessings, and the editor of Community, Covenant and Commitment: Selected Letters and Communications of Rabbi Joseph B. Soloveitchik and The YCT Companion to the Book of Samuel.
